Teyana is a dedicated postpartum night nurse and board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) with over eight years of specialized experience caring for mothers and newborns. Her clinical background includes six years of neonatal intensive care nursing in both Level III and Level IV NICU settings, where she cared for premature, medically complex, and critically ill infants while supporting families through some of their most challenging moments. In addition, she has two years of postpartum nursing experience at a high-risk maternity center, providing comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during the critical transition from hospital to home. Her expertise includes newborn assessment, feeding support, sleep guidance, postpartum recovery, and family education. As a recently graduated Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and licensed APRN, Teyana combines advanced clinical knowledge with compassionate, evidence-based care. Her goal is to provide families with peace of mind, expert newborn support, and individualized guidance during the postpartum period, helping both parents and babies thrive. She is passionate about creating a calm, nurturing environment that promotes rest, recovery, confidence, and healthy beginnings for growing families.
