Shayla Stephens

Originally from Tampa, FL, Shayla has years of experience caring for newborns and children since she was 15 years old when she began volunteering in the NICU at Tampa General Hospital. Shayla relocated to Atlanta GA to attend Spelman College where she obtained her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology. Not long after graduating, Shayla fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse after graduating from Emory University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She is now a full time nurse at Emory University Hospital Midtown on the Postpartum/Mother Baby Unit. Shayla loves her job and enjoys meeting new families while assisting them with their new baby! When Shayla is not working, she loves spending time with her niece and nephew, and also traveling and exploring new places with her husband. She is looking forward to providing valuable support and care to you and your family!
