Shakia Walker

Shakia is a postpartum nurse that obtained her nursing degree from Mercer University. She has experience working within the women’s health field, which is her passion. She initially started off at the nation’s leading maternity services in Northside Atlanta Hospital, where she enjoyed educating parents about their new little bundle of love. She then went on to obtain more experience in her current role as a postpartum nurse and also working with babies in the NICU. Outside of work, Shakia enjoys reading books, trying new restaurants, and playing with her puppy. She hopes to make this transition for parents as simple as possible and is looking forward to providing a helping hand for your family!
