Jerika Beckom

Jerika is a native of Detroit, MI and was a social worker in child welfare prior to becoming a nurse. She obtained a master of science in nursing from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. She has over 2 years of experience as a mother-baby nurse, and has also worked in labor & delivery and gyn oncology. Caring for women and children is her passion, and she currently works at a birth center as a postpartum nurse as well. She loves having the ability to care for families in their homes where she can connect with them and provide more personalized care. Jerika is also currently in school to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, but in her spare time, she enjoys exploring the city and traveling.
