Whitney Parrish

Whitney is originally from Huntsville, Alabama. She earned her first Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Alabama in 2019. After several years of working with children in both educational and clinical settings, she pursued a new path in nursing and graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Jefferson State Community College in May 2025. Whitney currently works as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Children’s of Alabama. With experience caring for children since 2015, she brings a deeply compassionate and empathetic approach to her work—qualities that are especially vital in pediatric care. She is also furthering her education through the RN-BSN program at The University of Alabama, where she is working toward her second Bachelor's degree. In her free time, Whitney enjoys thrift shopping and taking her two dogs, Ace and Milo, for walks in the park.
