Kelsey McLendon

Kelsey McLendon is a Doctor of Nursing Practice–prepared Family Nurse Practitioner who truly loves caring for children and supporting the families who love them. She currently works at Children’s of Alabama, where her background includes pediatric Med/Surg, the Emergency Department, and an outpatient ENT clinic. Kelsey began her career as a pediatric Registered Nurse, where she developed a passion for family-centered care and patient education. She went on to earn her DNP and FNP certification to expand her role in caring for children and families through evidence-based, compassionate primary care. She is dedicated to supporting families with individualized, nurturing care that promotes health, confidence, and well-being.
