Rhonda has been married to her best friend, Tim, for over 30 years.  She was a stay at home mom to their four children, now ages 17 to 28, until the youngest child started to school.  She then began volunteering in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.  It is then that she realized that caring for women and infants is a passion for her.

She graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College with her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2009.  She then went on to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from UNC Greensboro in 2016.  She has been a Labor and Delivery nurse since 2010.  She is certified in Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB) and she also has her Neonatal Resuscitation certification (NRP).  She has helped her daughter and other new mothers as they adjusted to the “new normal” of life with a newborn.

Rhonda enjoys any time spent with her family, no matter what they are doing.  She enjoys cooking, cross stitching and folding Moravian Stars.
