Melody Cameron, RN, BSN
Melody’s interest in nursing began when she heard stories about her own NICU stay from being born at 28 weeks’ gestation, and also from both grandmothers who worked as pediatric nurses. Melody is an RN with her BSN from the University of West Florida. She has been a nurse since 2017, and has been working in the healthcare field since 2014. Before becoming a nurse, she used to work in home-healthcare with the elderly for three years. Her background is in pediatrics and Neonatal ICU. She is currently enrolled in school for her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Georgia State University. She is dedicated, has a kind, compassionate heart, and has a love for babies and children. She understands personally what it is like to be a child with health issues and understand the anxiety and toll of having a child that needs medical attention and care. She can use her skills, knowledge, and first-hand experience to help you as a mother transition during this time of bringing your newborn home. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, two chihuahuas, being outdoors, and being active.
