I am a caring and compassionate individual who loves being around children. My background includes babysitting, working at an after school program for children and at a mobile clinic that provides free health screenings to children and their families. I currently volunteer at an after school program for children of refugees where I tutor and lead interactive health education sessions. My first degree was from the University of California, Berkeley where I studied Public Health and I went back for my second degree in nursing at Emory University. I am currently in a doctor of nursing practice (DNP) program at Emory University to become a family nurse practitioner with a focus on population health. A few of my hobbies include cooking, going on hikes, and trying out new restaurants and cuisines. I am so excited to support families and assist in the transition to a new chapter in their lives!
