Joyce Garrett-Williams
RN, BSN
Joyce is a Registered Nurse and a native of Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from Los Angeles Southwest College with an ADN in Nursing. She then worked for over five years for Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Bellflower, California in NICU/Special Care Nursery and Maternal/Child Health. When her family relocated to metro Atlanta in 1992, Joyce worked at Dekalb Medical Center at Decatur in the Growing Premie Nursery and Newborn Nursery for seven years and Rockdale Hospital in Mother/Baby for four years. She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) from Clayton State University in 2005 before working at Dekalb Medical Center @ Hillandale in the NICU Department for five years and Emory Hospital, Midtown NICU/SCN for ten years.
Joyce really enjoys helping families with newborn teaching and then observing their increased confidence and ability to care for their newborn and premature infants.
