Paula Ramberg

RN, BSN

Caring for children has been a big part of Paula's life. She babysat throughout middle and high school, then became a full time nanny after graduation. She was lucky enough to get to be a stay at home mom to her three children, two boys and a girl. When her youngest child started kindergarten it felt like time to look for a new challenge. Caring for others through nursing was the next logical step to her when it was time to think about a new career. Paula earned a BSN from UNF and started her nursing career as a pediatric nurse in Neuroscience and GI at Wolfson Children's Hospital. After two amazing years at Wolfson, she was offered her dream job as a Newborn Nursery Nurse at Flagler Hospital. When Flagler Hospital transitioned away from a staffed nursery, she became a postpartum mother/baby nurse and eventually a labor and delivery nurse. More than 5 years later, she is still at Flagler Hospital and loves caring for families as a Labor, Postpartum or NICU nurse. She is also a certified lactation counselor. Paula is originally from Michigan, but thanks to the US Navy have lived all up and down the east coast from Maine to Florida. When her husband retired, they settled in St. Augustine where they fell in love with the beaches and history of the area. When not working she loves traveling, camping, hiking, relaxing at the beach, and reading.
